Yikes!
Okay woah!
Scratch yesterdays blog....TODAY was the best freakin' day ever!
Bailed on climbing because weather wasnt looking too good down in New Palts.
Sooo! Instead we went up to Hadley and took a run down the Sac. After that we headed to Hudson Falls, to the wave we were at yeasterday.
Yesterday was the first day i had gotten my roll back! And i tried to get on the wave and surf two times and succeeded once.
Well today!!
After the run down the Sac i was feeling prettyy good! (especially in my new boat! Thank you Daddy (: ) And i had also promised Justin 3 actual surfs today...and dont worry...he was very good at reminding me of this. He is a pain in my ass!(excuse the french!) While i try and weasle my way down the line to surf, Justin(whos like a freakin pro) is like "Hey! Jordan your turn!"
But i did amazing! Im actually GLAD he pushed me to do it! I got on the wave first try today and stayed there for a little bit. Next 3 times a dumped...but didnt swim!!! My rolls were flawless! And no im not being cocky...Jay,Justin,Dad, and everyone else there could not stop saying "Wooow!"
So after i knew that i could get up after any dump, i was ready for more!
I had an amazing couple of surfs after that! I got wayyy more comfprtable and everyone could tell!
After my first good surf i could hear everyone cheering!
Mind you...im the youngest kid there surfing by 11 years! Today there was another girl there(i think it was Jenn??) Which is rare! I do not see as many girls as there should be! Come onn! Lets get the gals out there! I want to see more Emily Jacksons(great young pro female kayaker).
So anywho!
GREAT FREAKIN' DAY!
Oh! and then we went out to El Mexicano! haha suggestion made by Justin after his first surf! haha

Amazing day!
I had an amazinggg day!
Went kayaking with Jay,Justin,Dad,and Dave!
Jay showed us to a new wave today! Easy and soft as hell!
Got my roll on the first try...but then i was skeptic as to whether or not attempt to surf the wave. Fisrt "attempt" was crappy. I didnt realy want to try because i was afriad of flippin and wasnt confident in my roll justtt yet....so that one sucked.
Then Justin told me he would dump me if i didnt go and actually tryy....so i did...of course(hate your guts Justin). It was good.
God it surfing crazy. You get in there and theres so much action everywhere! You dont know where to look, which side to put your paddle in on, what edge to have up. Insane! Meanwhile...you cant hear much cuz the wave/water is so damn loud!
So anywho it was a good day!
Promised Justin 3 good surfs tomorrow though because i only did one today...
We'll see how that goes tomorrow!
But as far as today goes....amazing!

Well im back from NYC!
I loved it! No suprise! The city is such a great place...right after you get over the fact that rats are all over the subways.
But who needs the subways?? As long as its nice out...WALK! I think i walked about 20 miles A DAY! My mom and i walked allll over the city!
Thursday we took a 6:50am train to Penn Station in Manhatton. We dropped our bags off and jumped on the subway from Penn to Brooklyn. My mom needed to check in on two vendors. So we went to check in on them and see what was new in stock. Afterwards we walked around Crown Heights and found a bagel place to eat lunch at. When done there, we walked back to the subway station and picked up our bags at Penn.
We were staying at my moms freinds house. She would be away on a trip to Europe for the week.
After getting settled in we took a walk to get dinner. We ended up eating at the MOST AMAZING grochery store in the world! Its like Wegmans on sterroids! And if you know what Wegmans is like, you will believe this place was heaven! It was all organic and healthy too! My freind/tutor, Beth, would be pleased! Even the suhi had brown rice!! lol So after that great dinner PLUS all the walking, It was a pretty healthy couple of days!
Soo the next day! We woke up and headed to Central Park. And it was a GORGEOUS day! Walked everyyywhere! In Central Park we met Patsy for a walk around. Then we headed to another vendor fo my mom's. Then we walked down 6th, window shopped, and then met Billy for lunch. After lunch with Billy we stopped at BLoomingdales! I purchased(mom acctually did the purchasing though! hehe! Early b-day pressie!) the most adorable gladiator sandals! They are gold! Anddd! They are Coach! So now im a very happy girl! We continue walking to meet Jessica, an old co-worker of my mothers, in another park. We walk around in search of an ice cream store! Genious me! I found one! And it had delicious yogurt gelato! (watermellon was the best!)
Jessica leaves us and now we have to decide where we want to eat dinner! We arent quiteee ready for dinner though. Mom decides she wants to take me to see the water. We head to the Amex building and sit by the water for a bit. Before the night ends, we eat dinner at Arte Cafe! There i had an outstanding pasta dinner!
Finally! To end a good day...we stop at a grochery store by the apartment and grab some oreos to take back and eat!
The next morning we pack up and head home ):
Good trip though!!

New York City
Im soo excited! Thursday my mother Sheril and i are heading to the city (:
I love the city feel. Walking everywhere. People with different styles, different cultures. Its a place where you can get so much inspiration form so many little or big things. All the noises around all the taxis. You can see people playing guitar in the streets. The food is always amazing! The city has THE best chinese food out of China!
And the fashion....
I LOVE IT!
All of the women are wearing the cutest boots and the most adorable coats. And they have slung over their shoulder the perfect bag to tie it all together! I love it! I look around and take a mental note on something new i would like to add or try in my closet!
But then at night, if you look out a window, its dark, its slowed down on some streets. And sometimes you can hear the honk of a horn or the subway rushing by under the grates in the streets.
Sunset is the time that you want to take picutres of the city. Its a perfect time to sit back and just watch.

WOW
I just came back from swimming in Saratoga Lake! I was brought there by my tutor(for school), Beth. She is a coach for a triathalon team. This is not just an ordinary team though...its the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team!
Honestly, when Beth told me to come to this, i thought well great! I would love to take a good swim(at 9:30 am!) and i love the cause its for! I will get to that part later (: So anywhoo, my thoughts were that it was going to be a bunch of women havin' a good 'old time doing this! And there were women...but there were also kids! Mind you i'm a kid myself(being as im only 14). But i mean college kids! Some of them werent over 24! Beth and i talked later about how amazing that is! There arent many college kids that would take the time and EFFORT to work for something like this. Thats amazing.
So we arrived at this bar that we were meeting at. There are a few girls and boys that are just a BIT tired. And who wouldnt be at 9am on a saturday?? But then theres this spunky chick! Her name is Colleen. I give her props for being so upbeat at that time of day! And in the situation of knowing that in about 15 minutes shes about to jump in the cold lake!
And after everyone was at the bar, we all got back in our cars and drove down to the lake. We struggled to get the wetsuits on(while Beth just gets to watch :P). But then Beth pulls out a letter. Its from one of her friends that has competed in the triatolon previously. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and wants to thakn everyone for their support and raising this money for research.
Everyone slows down. This is the time when they stop complaining about the cold temperatures, and realize again the reason whyy they are about to jump in. Why they are competing. And it brings everyone together.
I look around, and i notice that the once spunky girl, is in tears. She has walked away from out circle. Thats when i break down. Its almost amazing to see someone like that! I dont want to say that i loved that she cried, but she cares! Thats amazing!
And i think i made it worse...
Beth asked me to share my story. My story is about my mother. She died August 12,2005. Her cancer was terminal. No cure. No saving her. No keeping her.
Thats why i love these people for doing this. Cancer takes years out of peoples lives. It breaks families. It ruins children. It hurts.
I just want to say thank you. Its amazing what you guys are doing. It cant help me as much, but it helps the next 10 year old girl. It might save her from losing a mother.
Than you!
And Colleen...i have to say...you were the one that touched me the most today. Dont be affraid of that lake swim! Stay away from the bouey! You wont drown!
